Marisol Basilio, PhD
Developmental Psychologist working across parenting, play, and learning.
Child Development Researcher
I hold a PhD in Child Development and Education, with extensive research experience at the University of Cambridge. My work focuses on understanding how children learn, develop, and interact within real-world environments, bridging rigorous research with practical application.
I design and facilitate hands-on, creative play experiences that support transversal skills such as creativity, metacognition, and self-regulation, grounded in deep respect for children’s real capabilities and developmental potential.
I partner with organisations to make impact evaluation feasible, meaningful, and aligned with their mission and values. I specialise in practical, innovative approaches that respect context while producing evidence that can actually be used to transform practice.
